🦄 “Enchanted Life”: Free Coloring Page from the Dear Equestrians Collective Coloring Book
This one’s close to my heart, as it’s my own personal portrait from inside the first edition of the Dear Equestrians Collective Coloring Book. This project weaves the journeys of 33 equestrians from around the world and their messages and love letters to the evolving equine world.
The “Enchanted Life” is inspired by the beautiful moody, mystical and magical landscapes of Scotland where I now live. Resting by a well with a unicorn, surrounded by ancient standing stones and trees, the Three Sisters of Glencoe mountains in the background, a beautiful loch and waterfalls, and a labyrinth spiraling in the distance.
And this drawing is not just about horses. It’s about choosing enchantment in everyday life. It’s about slowing down, finding magic in the mundane, and seeing the art in everything.

Not AI Art: Real Lines, Real Life, Real Soul.
In a time where so much “art” is being churned out by machines, I want to be clear: these pages are made by hand, by a human with a heart and vision for a more compassionate, ethical, and gentle world for horses and for humans, because our liberation is not separate.
I sketch each design based on:
- My lived experiences with horses
- Symbolism and storytelling from nature and spirituality
- The kind of shapes I actually want to color (no overly detailed micro-lines here!)
So when you sit down with one of these pages, you’re not coloring a generic image. You’re coloring part of a story and a vision for a changing and evolving future.
How to Use These Coloring Pages
Coloring Instead of Consuming – If you have ten minutes to doom-scroll, you have ten minutes to color! According to the Mayo Clinic, there are incredible mental benefits to mindfully coloring!
“Coloring is a healthy way to relieve stress. It calms the brain and helps your body relax. This can improve sleep and fatigue while decreasing body aches, heart rate, respiration, and feelings of depression and anxiety.”
Wondering how to weave these into your life? Here are a few ideas:
- Replace Scrolling with Coloring: Take 10-15 minutes a day to break out the colors and sit with relaxing music and color, you will come away feeling more relaxed.
- Monthly Ritual: Choose the zodiac horse that matches the current season and set intentions while you color.
